our board and supporters

Since the military operations began following the events of 9/11, noticing difficulties that returning soldiers and military families were experiencing with finances and medical treatments, particularly in mental health support, have become more important.  The representatives of NFMFS have come together to help bring attention to the ongoing hardships that many military families are experiencing, and the very troubling increase in suicides among our soldiers.  The executive team of the foundation continue to research ways to reach out to the community, and seek to grow the reach and capabilities of NFMFS.

It is the goal of the NFMFS  to work along side other military charities, foundations, and organizations to see that each of our heroes and their families receive the support and care that they have earned and deserve.

The men and women who wear the uniform of the United States Armed Forces proudly and bravely serve our country in its defense.  The National Foundation for Military Family Support (NFMFS) is here to say thank you, and to assist our service men and women with struggles faced at home, from financial to medical and mental assistance.

NFMFS, a non-profit charity, was established in 2013 by a son of an Army Ranger and nephew of a Marine.  At that time, the foundation's purpose was to connect those in need with appropriate 501c3 charities.  In September 2014, NFMFS began it's 501c3 filing with the purpose of providing its own resources and assistance to our nation's military and their families in need.  In October 2014, the foundation's board was formed, consisting of professionals from the entertainment industry, law enforcement, business, and military.
